Bids are coming in...
We have received the formal bids for the building exterior and site improvements—and they are within budget. These bids represent more than 84% of the total construction cost. As you can see by the schedule below, we are now bidding out the Interior portion of the new building and expect to receive those bids back by May 23. The Interior phase represents about 16% of the construction cost. So, with bids coming in, construction estimates are now firming up as we continue to remain at the lower range of the estimated total project budget of $11.6 million.

- May 17-18, 2008—Informational Meetings
- May 30, 2008—Final cost for interior work
- May 31-June 1, 2008—Informational Meetings
- June 7-8, 2008—Congregational Vote
- June 16, 2008—Construction mobilization
- Doors open July-September 2009!

"Fast Facts"
- The "Worship Center" will have three floors totaling 43,695 square feet:
- Lower Level with 2 nurseries and a toddler care room and 3 multi-use classrooms;
- Main Floor including a sanctuary with 800-1000 seats, baptismal, new piano and organ, 2 multi-use classrooms, an expandable lobby and lounge area with nearby coffee/tea bar and fireplace; and a
- 3rd Floor with over 10,000 square feet of unfinished expansion area for a future 300-seat balcony and additional classrooms.
There will also be an outdoor Plaza connecting the old and new buildings with covered walkways, water features, landscaping, benches, café tables and chairs.
