Weekly Prayer Reminder: 9-8-2008
Sunny weather is continuing to aid in the completion of the final grading for the sanctuary area. Dry soil is much easier to work with and compact! This week footing forms will be set in place for the sanctuary walls and stage area. The footings for the basement area are now complete with backfilling occurring today.
Forms for the basement wall will also be erected this week with the concrete pour scheduled for next week. This wall will be 16 feet tall, 120 feet wide and 11 1/4 inches thick.
Finally, grading will also begin in the existing parking area between the construction trailer and the north side of the new building. This work will take place during the next several days and possibly into next week. So be very careful as you drive, bike and walk near the construction trailer. The crews will be looking out for you but you need to look out for them as well.
